1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website. By using it you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the version published here is the one that applies.
2. Who we are
This website is operated by the founders of Merakly, a UK-based pre-incorporation project. A UK company will be formed before Merakly begins trading, and its legal details will then be published here. You can reach us at hello@merakly.co.uk or +44 7423 036629, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 7pm.
3. Merakly has not launched
We are pre-launch. The service described on this website is not yet available, and the categories, delivery areas, standards and pricing approach described are our current intentions rather than commitments. They may change before we open.
4. Early access
- Joining the early-access list is free and creates no contract between us.
- It is not a reservation, a pre-order, or a right to buy anything.
- We may contact you about Merakly. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- We are not obliged to launch at any particular time, in any particular place, or at all.
- We may decline or remove any submission, particularly if it appears automated, abusive, or contains information about another person that we did not ask for.
5. Using this website
Please use the site lawfully and reasonably. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with how it works, submit anything unlawful or harmful, or use automated means to extract content from it.
6. Our content
The Merakly name, logo, wording, design and images on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may read and share the pages, but please do not copy, reproduce or reuse the content commercially without our written agreement.
7. Accuracy
We take care to keep this site accurate, but it describes a service that is still being built. Statistics quoted are drawn from our own research with 107 members of the Nigerian diaspora in the UK and are presented as findings from that group, not as market-wide facts. We do not promise the site will always be available or error-free.
8. Links to other sites
Where we link elsewhere, we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
9. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and because this site is informational and free to use, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from reliance on information on it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
